How to deactivate or delete your yahoo account

Deleting your yahoo account is possible. I know there are people who would want to do it. Sometimes perhaps we get sick of even our own id. Deleting or deactivating a yahoo account id is pretty simple.
Go to Yahoo Account termination page and login with your account id. You should see something like this:-

Fill out the details and yahoo will disable it and schedule it for deletion. As per yahoo, it takes approx. 90 days to completely delete an id once it is submitted for de-activation. Those of you who have gotten sick of their id can breathe easy now.
